You have an amazing opportunity to open your home to an international student. Enjoy a unique cultural experience while sharing the beauty of the Sea to Sky. Hosting opportunities can be a few days, one semester, or a full school year - we will work with you to find the right fit. More information here!

Our usual registration process is currently closed. During this time, families can fill out a webform which will act as a placeholder to register your child when schools re-open on August 26th.

June is Pride Month, and our district joins in celebrating the resilience and contributions of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. The Sea to Sky School District believes that we are responsible for ensuring all schools are inclusive and safe spaces for students, staff and families of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Let's join together to celebrate diversity and create supportive environments where everyone can thrive! After all, one of our core enduring understandings is that "diversity is a strength." June is National Indigenous History Month, a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada. The Sea to Sky School District joins the nation in honouring Indigenous communities' history, achievements, and resilience. Throughout June, we encourage students, staff, and the broader community to engage with Indigenous stories, traditions and cultures to gain a deeper understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Metis experiences. The Safe Access to Schools Act gives the Province the legal authority to prohibit disruptive behaviour that impedes access to school grounds. This includes behaviour such as any protests that causes disruptions to school programs and activities or that cause concern for the physical or mental safety of students and staff. Access Zones are now in place at K-12 schools, and police can arrest or issue tickets to anyone found impeding access, disrupting or interfering with educational activities or attempting to intimidate an individual within 20 metres (66 feet) of school property. These zones will be in effect on school days from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and during extracurricular school activities at all of B.C.’s K-12 public and independent schools, with limited exceptions. From May 26 to June 1, the Sea to Sky School District proudly joins the nation in celebrating National AccessAbility Week. This year's theme is "Forward Together: Accessibility and Inclusion for All." Join us in supporting and celebrating accessibility and inclusion throughout our schools and community.
